State mourning on Monday over Omani Sultan’s demise
Bangladesh will observe one day state mourning on Monday (January 13) over sad demise of Omani Sultan Qaboos who passed away on January 10.
Prime Minister’s Assistant Press Secretary ABM Sarwer e Alom Sarker issued a press release on Sunday (January 12).
According to release, National flag will be hoisted at half mast by all government, private and educational institutions including Bangladesh Embassies abroad and special prayer to be offers at all mosques on Monday in honour of the Omani Sultan.
Sultan Qaboos, the longest-reigning leader of the modern Arab world, died at the age of 79 on Friday.
