Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas begin four-day mediation amid ongoing divorce drama
Former Hollywood power couple, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas, have embarked on a four-day mediation process in Manhattan to address lingering custody issues and establish a parenting plan for their two daughters.

The 27-year-old "Game of Thrones" alum, was photographed leaving Taylor Swift's apartment where she is staying.

Dressed in a casual ensemble of blue jeans and a zip-up hoodie, Turner was accompanied by her lawyer.

Jonas, 34, was later seen arriving at a New York City legal office, adopting a casual look in white jeans and sunglasses.

Divorce trial date set for early 2024
While a trial date had been set for January 2nd by Judge Katherine Polk Failla, the mediation seeks to address many of the custody concerns that have arisen between Turner and Jonas.  During a recent court appearance, Turner's lawyer, Stephen Cullen, revealed that Jonas is seeking joint custody with an equitable 50-50 arrangement. Jonas was photographed leaving the first session with Turner around 8 p.m. appearing somewhat downcast as he exited the New York City office building via a service driveway.

Turner, on the other hand, was seen exiting through the main entrance around 6 p.m. earlier in the day.

She sported a casual yet composed outfit, comprising jeans, a white T-shirt, and a green cable-knit cardigan.

Jonas and Turner staying in New York for now
The four-day mediation comes on the heels of a lawsuit filed by Turner against Jonas, accusing him of wrongful retention.

She alleged that Jonas withheld their passports, preventing them from returning to England. The complaint called for the "immediate return of children wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained." Her legal team asserted that the "wrongful retention" began on September 20th.

Following Turner's complaint, Jonas released a statement countering her claims and expressed his willingness to cooperate on a co-parenting plan.

Subsequently, the two reached a temporary agreement, permitting them to keep their two daughters in New York City.
