Shanu and Hakim act together once again
Having performed in a tele-drama last time with eminent actor Azizul Hakim three years back, popular actress Shanarei Devi Shanu is set to appear with the actor once again. This time around, the duo will share screen in an upcoming tele-drama titled ‘Boi Bibhrat’ made for Bangladesh Television (BTV).
DhakaLive has news that the shooting of the tele-drama was completed yesterday.
Written by Raibhya Ahmed and produced by Md Mahfuzur Rahman, the tele-drama also casts Mahmud Sazzad, Wahida Mallick Jolly and Sayeed Babu in different roles.
The story of ‘Boi Bibhrat’ revolves around imposing a huge amount of fine for losing a book from a library 50 years ago.
Hakim said about working in the tele-drama, “As the plot of the drama revolves around the books and the story seems to be completely unique, I have really enjoyed the work. Also, it was a wonderful experience to work with Shanu after a long time. I hope the drama will be enjoyable to the viewers.”
Shahu said on her part, “Hakim Bhai (Azizul Hakim) is a talented actor. Truly speaking, I grew up by watching him acting on television and I never thought I would act alongside him. He is not only a wonderful artiste, but also a man with a good soul. It was really fascinating to act in ‘Boi Bibhrat’ as I am also involved with writing.”
‘Boi Bibhrat’ will be aired on BTV at 9pm on February 1.
