Samsung Galaxy S10 to sport a 6.44-inch display
Over the last few weeks, there have been a lot of rumours surrounding Samsung’s 2019 flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy S10. The last we heard about the device was that it would come in three sizes to take on the rumoured three models that will be released by Apple this year.

This time around, a report by The Investor claims that the largest handset from Samsung’s 2019 line-up of S10s will feature a 6.44-inch display up from 6.3-inches to rival Apple’s iPhone X Plus which is believed to be a handset with a 6.5-inch screen.

The report notes that this display size is a countermeasure against Apple and the 6.44-inch screen will be the largest in size among Samsung’s high-end smartphones. Usually, the Samsung Galaxy Note line-up of devices feature screen sizes that are larger than those found on the S-series.

An industry insider told the publication, “The modified specs are not final and Samsung is still considering different options. Everything will be all set and ready by August.”

Apart from the larger display size, the highest end model of the Samsung Galaxy S10 will come equipped with a triple lens system like the Huawei P20 Pro. This is expected to be one of the highlighted features of the Galaxy S10. Apart from this the two top-tiered handsets in the line-up will come equipped with curved screens like those found on the Galaxy S9 and S9+. The cheapest handset of the lot is expected to come with a single camera layout and not feature a curved glass.

The Galaxy S10 may also come with an in-display fingerprint scanner like some of the newly announced Vivo smartphones.

As f now, these features are still in the rumours stage and more will be known about the Galaxy S10 by late this year or early 2019.
