Saif lose to Mohammedan
Federation Glass runners-up Saif Sporting Club conceded a shocking 1-2 goals defeat to Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited in a good Bangladesh Premier League meet in the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday.
 
Mohammedan’s Cameroonian forward Yassan Ouatching and Malian forwards Souleymane Diabate scored one goal each while forwards Md Maraz Hossain netted for Saif.
 
After the barren first half, Mohammedan took the lead in the 52nd minute.
 
Saif goalkeeper Pappu Hossain rebounded a flick from Sayed Rakib Khan Evan inside box but unmarked Ouatching seized the opportunity and sent the ball in to the net.
 
Saif’s Maraz levelled the margin 1-1 in the 69th minute following the local frontward scored with a robust right-footer while Nigerian onward John Okoli sent the ball to him merely outside of the box.
 
Mohammedan’s Malian forward Diabate scored the winner found in the 84th minute while he sent the ball house with a right-footed grounder, off a good move from midfielder Jafar Iqbal.
 
With this defeat, Saif dropped to sixth place with 23 items from 14 suits while Mohammedan climbed to fifth place with 25 points from 14 suits.

Meanwhile, riding in a late goal simply by captain Jean Charles Didier Brossou, Chattogram Abahoni Limited secured a 1-0 goal make an impression on Arambagh Krira Sangha found in the day's other meet in the same venue.

The Ivorian midfielder netted the match winner from a primary free kick outside from the box in the 79th minute. 
With the day's win, Ctg Abahoni earned 22 points as the bottom-placed Arambagh remained with their previous credit of 1 point.
