Rumors spread hacking Facebook ID: PM
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said Bhola incident occurred centering on rumors.
She said: “Rumour has been spread after hacking Facebook ID of a Hindu youth in Borhanuddin upazila of Bhola. The untoward incident happened centering on this issue.”
The premier came up with the statements at a meeting with Jubo League leaders at Ganabhaban on Sunday (October 20).
Four persons were killed, nine bullet-hit and at least fifty others injured in a number of clashes between police and locals in Borhanuddin upazila of the district on Sunday (October 20).
Biplab, a youth from Kachia union of the upazila, uploaded a post on Facebook, resulting in backlash against it from the entire upazila. Police detained the youth along with another person on Saturday.
