Rooppur housing project executive engr withdrawn
Authorities have withdrawn the executive engineer of Green City housing project under Rooppur Nuclear Power Project (RNPP) amid reports of unnatural costs and portage of furniture in the project.
Public Works Department (PWD) Chief Engineer Md Shahadat Hossain told Banglanews that Executive Engineer Masudul Alam has been withdrawn from the project Tuesday (May 22).
Two investigation committees are working on the reports of irregularities, said Shahadat.
Planning Minister MA Mannan is planning another committee to investigate the allegations at RNPP, he added.
