Robi now has the greatest 4.5G network in Bangladesh
Robi has become the first cellular phone operator found in Bangladesh to established a lot more than 11,000 dynamic 4.5G sites, thus setting up the largest high-speed network.
The operator has already reached the milestone by firmly taking the 4.5G network to every upazila, the business said in a news release yesterday.
The 4.5G network of the second-largest operator now covers 80 % of the population.
"I am incredibly proud to note that we are making very good on our assurance in this regard by being the first operator to cross 11,000 4.5G sites milestone," stated Mahtab Uddin Ahmed, taking care of director and ceo of Robi, in the press release.

Using the powerful spectrum technology, Robi possesses proved itself to get the most efficient operator in utilising spectrum to guarantee the best video experience in its 4.5G network, it said.
Robi may be the only operator that uses U900/L900 spectrum technology, which allows it to provide better coverage indoor.
It is also the primary operator to roll out the voice over permanent evolution (VoLTE) service found in the country, providing consumers with high-definition quality voice calling knowledge using the 4.5G network.
The HD video tutorial calling allows users to remain connected with relatives and buddies and offers buffer-free streaming of video tutorials.
The operator aims to supply the best video tutorial experience to its consumers, the news release said.
Robi Axiata is a good joint venture between Axiata Group Berhad of Malaysia and Bharti Airtel of India. Axiata keeps 68.69 % stake and Bharti the rest of the 31.31 %.
