Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden appoints Ramanithara EAM
Ramanithara Shanmugam has been promoted to Executive Assistant Manager of Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden, effective from March 1.
Ramanithara’s career in hotel and hospitality management spans over three decades. After graduating from DCT Hotel Management Business School, Switzerland, he has worked in many countries like Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives etc.
His résumé includes working with major hotel brands like The Regent in Maldives, Golden Palm Tree Resort and Spa in Malaysia, Raffles Grand Hotel D’Angkor in Cambodia, Turi Beach Resorts in Indonesia and many more.
Hailing from Malaysia, Ramanithara took up the position of Director of Food and Beverage at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden in 2016. The promotion is an example of the management’s recognition to Ramanithara for his strong commitment to performance which was extended to the organisation, especially towards the Food and Beverage department over the past three years.
In his new role as the Executive Assistant Manager, Ramanithara will oversee the day-to-day activities of all operating departments including Rooms and Food and Beverage Divisions as well as the Spa and Health Club. He will also represent the Executive Office in the absence of the General Manager.
