PUBG's newest update- all you need to know about RageGear mode
PUBG MOBILE’ new and latest update - 0.16.0 is here. While the update promises a whole set of new features like snowy terrain in Erangel or a TPP to FPP switch, the most awaited feature is the new mode - RageGear. Read on to know more about the RageGear mode.
The new RageGear mode is available under EvoGround. This mode essentially allows players to compete in two teams in a death race like situation with weapon mounted vehicles. Special weapons like the Gatling, RPG, grenade launcher and M249 will be available in RageGear
Each faction has three vehicles and 6 players (driver and gunner in each vehicle). Each of these three vehicles are different (Dacia, UAZ and Buggy), with its own unique abilities and automatic weapon system. Players take turns driving the vehicle and being the gunner in the vehicle. As the driver, you not only control the vehicle but also the automatic weapons mounted on the vehicle. As a gunner, you can choose between three different weapons - RPG-7, MGL and M249.
One of the key features within RageGear mode is that it consists of two sub-categories, TDM mode and Pick Up mode.
RageGear - TDM
This mode has infinite respawn. Earn 1 point for every enemy vehicle destroyed. The first faction that destroys the required number of vehicles wins.
RageGear - Pick Up
This mode too has infinite respawn. The first faction that picks up the required number of crates (which spawns at the center of the map) wins. All crates picked up are lost if the vehicle is destroyed.
Apart from RageGear, the new 0.16.0 update brings a Snow Paradise in Erangel, Healing Mobility, Unique Loadouts, Perspectives Button, New Sliding Mechanic and much more.
