'Propaganda' against education minister: GD filed
An over-all diary (GD) has been filed alleging propaganda against Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni on Facebook.
Ratan Kumar Mazumder, principal of Chandpur Puran Bazar Degree College, filed the GD with Chandpur Model Police Station on Wednesday.
It was stated in the GD that persons are being confused through false and fabricated information from two Facebook pages--one in the name of Mili Sultana and the other in the name of Jaima Rahman, which has made "me shocked and angry."
Chandpur Model Police Station's officer-in-charge (OC) Nasim Uddin said, "We have a complaint. There are several processes to file cases under Digital Security Act."
He said police would seek the permission of the court. Steps would be taken after completing all of the processes with the permission of the court.
It can be mentioned that principal Ratan Kumar Mazumder also recorded two GDs earlier bringing allegations of propaganda against Dr Dipu Moni. Later, police arrested three local teachers filing a case beneath the ICT Act.
