President returns home from Geneva
President M Abdul Hamid returned home on Saturday morning after wrapping up his five-day official visit to Geneva, reports BSS.

An Emirates flight carrying the President and his entourage members, departed from Cointrin Airport, Geneva at about 3:15 pm local time (BdST 7.15pm on Friday), landed at Hazrat Shahjalal (R) International Airport here at 8.30am.

On his arrival at the VVIP lounge of HSIA, he was received by Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon, Dean of the diplomatic Corps, Swiss Ambassador Ren Holenstein, chiefs of the three services, Foreign Secretary, Secretary of Cabinet Division, Secretary to PM, Inspector General of Police (IGP) and high civil and military officials.

Earlier, President Hamid left here for Geneva on October 21 to attend the Global Leaders Investment Summit and the 20th Annual Session of the Homeland and Global Security Forum-2018.
