Polls schedules not acceptable without level-playing field: Fakhrul
BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said the schedule or election will not be acceptable unless equal opportunities are created for all parties.

He said the polls schedules will not valid without the release of Khaleda Zia. “We want Election Commission creates a level-playing field for 11 parliament polls for all candidates.”

Mirza Fakhrul was addressing the Jatiya Oikyafront’s rally at Madrasa Maidan in Rajshahi city on Friday afternoon. No further program was given from the rally.

BNP Standing Committee Member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy said, “Why national leaders of different parties were on the stage? That's because democracy is missing now. We are together to return to democracy.”

Krishak Sramik Janata League President Bangabir Kader Siddiqui alleged that his car has been caught five times and diverted to another road.


BNP Chairperson's advisor and Rajshahi Coordinator of the Oikyafront, Mizanur Rahman Minu presided the meeting. Standing committee member Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Barrister Moudud Ahmed and Nagaorik Oikya convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna were also present.

Besides, JSD President ASM Abdur Rab, Gano Forum Executive President Advocate Subrata Chowdhury, BNP vice chairman Barkat Ullah Bhulu, Mohammad Shahjahan, Khaleda Zia's Advisor Habibur Rahman Habib, Labor Party Chairman Dr. Mostafizur Rahman, BNP's publicity secretary Shahid Uddin Chowdhury's Annie, executive member Debashish Roy Modhu, Chapainawabganj Sadar BNP leader Harunur Rashid and local leaders were also present in the meeting.
