Pakistan cricketers strike 'mentally, physically' by NZ Covid isolation
Pakistan's cricketers complained Monday to be affected "mentally and physically" by New Zealand's strict Covid-19 protocols, which have kept the players holed up in their quarantine resort for almost two weeks.
Coach Misbah-ul-Haq said the crew was looking forward to exiting managed isolation, with New Zealand Cricket telling the latest virus assessments had all keep coming back negative and they ought to be allowed out on Tuesday.

"I want to compliment my players and the management team for their patience, sacrifices and the hardships they have endured to ensure they not merely lead the safe and sound resumption of international cricket through the Covid-19 pandemic... but also try to give their very best every time they stage on the field," Misbah said.
New Zealand Cricket explained the negative tests meant the touring party would be permitted to keep isolation on Tuesday, pending health division approval, to prepare for his or her first Twenty20 match against the Black Caps on December 18.
