Pabna rail link with country’s other parts snapped

PABNA: The rail communications of Pabna with other parts of the country were suspended following a head-on collision of two container trains.
Consequently, Dhaka’s rail links with northern and southern districts disrupted.
Bhangura Rail station master Nazrul Islam told Banglanews that two bogies were derailed as two container trains collided face-to-face at the station, at around 7:00am Thursday (February 1).
A rescue train is coming from Ishwardi to restore the train connection, he added.
