Omera becomes first native LPG cylinder maker to export its products
In a first for Bangladesh, Omera Cylinder Ltd, an area maker of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) containers, has recently begun exporting its goods to international markets.

Omera made the foray into global market segments after it all shipped the initial consignment of LPG cylinders to some companies found in Africa earlier this week, said Shamsul Haque Ahmed, ceo of Omera LPG.

"This is simply not only an instant of satisfaction for Omera, but also the complete country and its own LPG industry. We will be delighted that through Omera's technological knowledge, our region has expanded its affect in the foreign arena," explained Azam J Chowdhury, director of Omera Cylinders, in a news release.

Omera also hopes 1 day, the company can not only meet household demand for LPG cylinders, but also that of audience from across the world.

"This achievement is a acknowledgement of our strong determination to top quality," Chowdhury added.

After beginning its journey back 2015, Omera Cylinders has catered to the needs of several local LPG operators by offering them a wide variety of goods that meet international standards, the news release said.

By using modern day European machinery and technology, securing skilled recruiting and maintaining the highest health and environmental safety, Omera grew quickly.

Besides, getting into the global industry is another major accomplishment for the business, the statement said.

Shipments to African countries are actually ongoing and Omera expectations to attain Latin American countries by next calendar year.

Omera Cylinders plans to export most of his surplus production even while also expanding its making capacity in the approaching days, Ahmed said.

Cylinders face a 10-tier quality test before it really is declared fit for service.

"We have adopted all European products and machinery to produce world-class cylinders for exports," he added.

Based on the CEO, the domestic demand meant for gas cylinders is just about 60 lakh pieces as the industry's manufacturing potential is just about 80 lakh to 90 lakh pieces.
