NOVOAIR joins as title sponsor
NOVOAIR, a private sector airline of the country, supports the 16th edition of the international tourism fair Dhaka Travel Mart 2019 as the title sponsor to be titled as NOVOAIR Dhaka Travel Mart 2019. The fair is being organised by The Bangladesh Monitor, an English fortnightly on travel trade.
Kazi Wahidul Alam, Editor, The Bangladesh Monitor and Mofizur Rahman, Managing Director, NOVOAIR signed a MoU to this effect at a ceremony held at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel Dhaka on Saturday, February 2. Senior officials from both the organisations were present on the occasion.
Thanking NOVOAIR for their support to Dhaka Travel Mart, Kazi Wahidul Allam said, “Over the years Dhaka Travel Mart has established itself as an effective platform for direct interaction between the tourism business organisations and the customers. To meet the customers’ demand, this specific sector is constantly evolving, adding new products and features. This year, we are also expecting some interesting new tour packages and other offers from the local and foreign participants.’’
Mofizur Rahman, in his speech, said, “We are proud to be associated with the biggest tourism extravaganza of the country. NOVOAIR has constantly been trying to play its role in the development of Bangladesh’s tourism sector. We are planning to extensively promote Dhaka Travel Mart at home and abroad and offer attractive fares and packages to the visitors of the during all three days of the fair.”
NOVOAIR Dhaka Travel Mart 2019 will be held from March 21-23 at the Ball Room of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel Dhaka.
National tourism organisations, airlines, tour operators, hotels, resorts and other tourism related organisations from home and abroad will showcase their products and services in over 80 stalls and pavilions during the fair.
The airline presently operates regular flights to all domestic destinations as well as to Kolkata in its regional network.
It is the only private sector airline that has been included in the world’s safe airlines list. According to the International Aviation Safety Rating Agency's airlineratings.com, NOVOAIR received three star ratings for ensuring passengers' safe travel.
The Bangladesh Monitor has been organising Dhaka Travel Mart since 2002.
