Noted actor Dilu dies
Prominent actor Mujibur Rahman Dilu passed on at United Hospital in the capital on Tuesday morning.
He died around 6:45am at the intensive care unit of a healthcare facility at the age of 68, his elder brother Ataur Rahman confirmed.
Ataur Rahman said Dilu, also a director, theatre activist, playwright, freedom fighter, have been experiencing various diseases including lung, pneumonia. He sought duo from all for Dilu.
The actor's son Ayon Rahman said his father was negative for coronavirus.
Dilu will be buried beside his father's graveyard in Banani after janaza.
His most well-known TV role was Malu, in the iconic TV drama serial 'Shangshaptak'.
