Dr Sultan Ahmed, secretary of the energy Division of the Ministry of Electric power, Energy and Mineral Assets, has said that consumers would not must be paid extra costs for electricity.
He informed this in a virtual appointment on Sunday afternoon.
"No client will get affected as none should be paid additional charge. Inflated electric bills are becoming coordinated. If even more allegations come, those may also be coordinated," he added.
