Non-MPO teachers, employees call off fast unto death
Teachers and employees of Non-MPO educational institutions have called off their fast unto death programme.
They suspended their hunger strike on Tuesday night by drinking water following a discussion with Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni.
Non-MPO Education Institutions Teachers and Employees Federation president Golam Mahamunnabi Dolar confirmed the matter.
The teachers and employees of Non-MPO educational institutions have been observing fast unto death in front of Jatiya Press Club for last couple of days demanding cancellation of the Monthly Pay Order (MPO) policy, 2018, and meeting Prime Minister.
