US President Donald Trump on Thursday ruled out extending the September 15 deadline for Chinese video-sharing social media program TikTok to either transformation its possession to an American enterprise or shut it down.

In the original stages, Microsoft was reported to be involved with negotiations with ByteDance, the Beijing-based internet technology company which owns TikTok.
“I’m not extending deadline, no. It’s September 15th. You will see no expansion of the TikTok deadline,” Trump informed reporters on Thursday.
“We’ll see what happens. It’ll either be shut up or they’ll sell it. Consequently, we’ll either up close TikTok in this region for security causes, or it’ll be purchased,” Trump explained in response to a query.
India was the initial nation to ban TikTok and a lot more than 100 other Chinese portable applications as a result of security reasons. Leading US officials possess praised India for the actions and started the process of doing the same.
