Motorola Moto X4 with 6GB RAM, Android 8.0 Oreo to debut in India on February 1
Motorola has unveiled a new variant of premium-range smartphone — Moto X4 which is slated to launch in India on February 1. The company has confirmed the news and has teased the launch on Twitter. The upgraded variant is said to come with 6GB RAM and expected to run Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

The Moto X4 was originally launched back in November 2017 in India. Currently, the Moto X4 is available in India in two variants - one with 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage priced at 20,999 and another with 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage priced at Rs 22,999.  The new 6GB/64GB variant is expected to come with a price tag of Rs 24,999. Talking about the Android 8.0 Oreo, the Moto X4 will get features such as Picture-in-Picture mode (PiP), background execution limit, Notification Channels and more. The company has already started rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo update to the older variants.

The Moto X4 flaunts a 5.2-inch LTS IPS full HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The display is covered with Corning Gorilla glass protection. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz, clubbed with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB of storage.

In terms of photography, the Moto X4 comes with a dual rear camera setup — one with 12MP sensor along with f/2.0 aperture and the other one with 8MP ultra-wide sensor with a 120-degree field of view, f/2.2 aperture. On the front, the handset sports a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

The phone draws its power from a 3000mAh non-removable battery with fast charging support. As for the connectivity, the phone includes USB Type-C port, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, GLONASS, dual SIM card support with 4G VoLTE.
