Mother-daughter strangled, son slaughtered
Postmortem on the three dead bodies recovered on Sunday from a flat in city's Uttarkhan was carried out on Monday.
The primary autopsy report said the mother and daughter daughter were strangulated to death while the son was slaughtered.
Dhaka Medical College Hospital's Forensic Medicine Dept's head Dr Sohel Mahmud told journalist after the postmortem at about 2:30pm.
The bodies of woman, her son and daughter were recovered from their home at Moynartek in Uttarkhan on Sunday night.
The vitctims were identified as Jahanara Khatun Mukta, 47, her son Muhib Hasan Rashni, 28, and physically challenged daughter Afia Sultana Mim, 20. They hailed from Jagannathpur in Kishoreganj.
Mukta's husband Iqbal Hossain died long ago, police said.
