Mother, daughter shot dead in Rangamati
Miscreants shot an indigenous woman and her daughter to death in Raikhali union under Kaptai upazila of Rangamati Monday (July 1) night.
The deceased were identified as Mra Sang Khoi Marma, 59 and Sangnu Marma, 28.
Rangamati Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Md Sufi Ullah confirmed the matter to Banglanews Tuesday (July 2) noon.
Local sources said the deceased belonged to Marma Liberation Party.
Police team sent to the spot to recover the bodies. Details will be informed later, said the ASP.
