Mother, brother file GD against Barrister Tureen Afroz
Mother and brother of Barrister Tureen Afroz filed a general diary (GD) against her with capital Dhaka's Uttara West Police Station on Friday.

The GD was lodged after mother Shamsun Nahar Tasnim and younger brother Shahnewaz Ahmed Shishir were not allowed to enter own home at Uttara.

Shahnewaz said, "We returned home from Canada and went to Uttara's home yesterday. But gate man and ansar members of the house barred us to enter in direction of sister."

He also said his sister Tureen Afroz was at home during this. Failing to enter home, they came back. Later, they filed GD no. 738, Shahnewaz added.

Regarding filing GD, Uttara West Police Station officer in-charge Tapan Chandra Saha confirmed that Shahnewaz, expatriate in Canada, wanted to enter home but his sister Turin Afroz did not allow, Shahnewaz mentioned in GD.

Earlier on November 19, 2017, a GD was lodged against Tureen Afroz by her mother.

On January 1, Shahnewaz lodged a case against Tureen Afroz before Dhaka's First Joint Judge Court on charge of occupying home.

According to the case statement, Tureen Afroz drove away mother Shamsunnahar and other tenants from the home intimidating by police on March 2, 2017.

Claiming her owner of the home, Turin took deeds and documents of the home in her possession too.
