More SP Azizur Rahman Chowdhury dies of Covid-19
An official, equal to the rank of more police very, died of coronavirus infection found on Saturday.
Azizur Rahman Chowdhury died at around Saturday noon while he was undergoing treatment at Mugda General Hospital in Dhaka.
AIG (Media) of Police Headquarters Sohel Rana confirmed it at night.
He said Azizur Rahman Chowdhury was posted at the Particular Branch (Political) of police. He was involved in compiling a book, titled "Secret Docs of Cleverness Branch on Father of the country Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman." The federal government offered him contractual appointment for his experience in collecting the secret documents.
Azizur Rahman Chowdhury was created on, may 1, 1959 at village Nanda Nagar under Kulaura upazila in Moulvibazar district. He'll get buried at his family graveyard under arrangement by law enforcement, said the AIG (Media).
He left behind his wife and two sons
Azizur Rahman Chowdhury joined up with the Bangladesh Law enforcement on January 1, 1982. He joined the Specialized Branch on August 27, 2002 after doing work at different departments. In the future, he went on particular retirement on April 30, 2019.
In line with the Police Headquarters, 75 police personnel have so far died being infected with Covid-19.
