Monjurul tests positive for Covid-19
Bangladesh national football team member SM Monjurul Rahman analyzed confident for coronavirus yesterday and can not fly to Qatar with all of those other contingent today, the BFF stated through a news release.
Players and officials of the national team were tested on Tuesday evening following the second friendly against Nepal.
The BFF said it could arrange another test for Monjurul after three times. If he returns another confident test, head instructor Jamie Day can make a decision about his replacement.
Day himself tested positive for another time on Monday and will have to stay static in isolation in Dhaka for the moment. He can only just join the team in Qatar if he returns a negative test.
Bangladesh are travelling to play a joint Environment Cup and Asian Cup qualifier against Qatar. The invert fixture in Dhaka finished in a 2-0 succeed for the visitors.
Bangladesh might quarantine for three times with access to gym and swimming establishments. They are planned to take up warm-up matches against local sides on November 25 and 26.
Bangladesh will get two even more warm-up matches before dealing with Qatar on December 4. Although the opponent is not final, the two matches are scheduled for November 25 and 26.
