US Ambassador to Bangladesh Earl R Miller has thanked the Bangladeshis for their support, friendship and partnership in this difficult period and shared dedication to democracy.

"I thank the countless citizens of Bangladesh who have sent communications of support in this difficult period," he said in a message on Saturday. 

Miller said those that committed violent, criminal functions of terror against their democracy are actually being arrested and will be held accountable relative to the rule of laws.

Despite the reprehensible events which unfolded in Washington, D.C. the United States Congress completed its constitutional duty and affirmed the lawful election of Joseph R. Biden, Jr. as President-elect and Kamala D. Harris just as Vice President-elect, he explained adding that they can be sworn into business office on January 20, 2021.  

Ambassador Miller said the tale of each democratic nation may be the struggle, imperfect and ongoing, to surpass their founding ideals.  

"Democracy is tested.  Quite often we stumble.  But through the task of committed residents, we reunite up, constantly striving to surpass the ideas we cherish," he said.

"In America, we do so once again. And alongside one another we recommit to charting a way onward of justice, lawfulness and value for the other person and the nation we love," said the US Ambassador.

Twitter banned President Donald Trump’s account Fri, citing “the chance of even more incitement of violence” following a deadly insurrection in the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday, information AP on Saturday. 

Twitter has much time given Trump and different environment leaders broad exemptions from it has the rules against personal attacks, hate speech and additional behaviors. 

But in an in depth explanation posted in its blog Friday, the business said latest Trump tweets amounted to glorification of violence when read in the context of the Capitol riot and plans circulating online for potential armed protests round the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden.

The social platform has been under growing pressure to take further action against Trump following a Wednesday violence. 

On Thursday, Fb suspended Trump’s account through Jan. 20 and perhaps indefinitely, regarding to AP.
