'Masud Rana' set budget at 83 crores
'Masud Rana' a much talked about upcoming film based on the iconic fictional spy character with the same name created by writer Qazi Anwar Hussain has created huge buzz among the film lovers since its announcement in September last year. The spy thriller series will be taking on the bad guys in the silver screen in an upcoming spy thriller, which will be made at a cost of tk 83 crores.

Now, adding even more surprising elements to the Endeavour, Jaaz Multimedia, the co-producer of the film, has revealed a lot more exciting news to the viewers on its official Facebook page on Monday.  

Entirely made in Hollywood, the film will be dubbed in Bangla and English. The English version of the film will be released worldwide simultaneously. At the same time, Bangla version will hit the countrywide cinemas in Bangladesh and Kolkata. Along with Jazz Multimedia from Bangladesh, three more production houses, including Hollywood-based Silver line, will produce the film.

The shooting of big-budget 'Masud Rana' will take place different locations in Mauritius, Thailand and Bangladesh. The film will be directed by Asif Akbar, a Bangladesh-born Hollywood director and actor, who has been working with the Hollywood industry since 2006. 

The film will cast internationally-acclaimed artistes who have a reputation of working in many famous films. The lead artistes will be taken from at least four film industries, such as Hollywood, Bollywood, Dhallywood (Dhaka) and Tollywood (Kolkata).

The star-studded cast of the film includes the famous actors like Mickey Rourke, Gabriel Wright, Daniel Bernhardt, Michael Pare and wrestling star 'The Great Khali', according to Jaaz Multimedia.

When talking about the film, Jaaz official Masud Rana said, 'We have been granted three copyrights of the novels written by Quazi Anwar Hossain such as 'Dhwangsha Pahar', Bharatnatyam' and 'Swarna Mrigya'. The Bangla version of the film will be released in both India and Bangladesh and the English version of the film will be released globally. We want to popularize 'Masud Rana' among film lovers across the world. More details regarding the film will be announced soon.'
