Man Utd Strike 'Agreement' With Chelsea Star
Manchester United have reportedly agreed personal terms with a Chelsea star they are hoping to sign before the transfer window closes later this week.

With both Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw injured, head coach Erik ten Hag has sought to bring in a new left-back to provide cover for the 2023/24 season.

Reports suggest Blues fullback Marc Cucurella is the Dutchman's No. 1 target, and that United are currently negotiating with the London club over a potential loan deal for the Spaniard. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the 20-time English champions have already struck an agreement over personal terms with the ex-Brighton & Hove Albion defender.

Cucurella, 25, has struggled for form since joining Chelsea in a deal worth €65 million (R1.3 billion), and has failed to make a single appearance since Mauricio Pochettino's arrival in the hot seat.

The Barcelona academy graduate made the move to Stamford Bridge in 2022 after being named the Seagulls' 2021/22 Player of the Season and Players' Player of the Season, with Chelsea fending off strong interest from Manchester City to secure his signature at the time.
