Lutfozzaman Babar falls sick in jail, given treatment
Former BNP State Minister for Home and a condemned convict in the 10-truck arms haul case Lutfozzaman Babar fell sick in Sylhet jail on Saturday.
Babar was taken to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital (SOMCH) from Sylhet Central Jail-1 around 10.30am.
After given treatment under Medicine Dept physician Dr Abu Nayeem Mohammad, Babar was taken back to the jail at about 12:15pm, said SOMCH police outpost in-charge Farooque Hossain.
Senior Jail Super Md Abdul Jalil also said that Babar there is no need to take Babar to Dhaka as his condition is not serious.
