Latest Galaxy Note 10 Pro leak to disappoint Samsung faithful
Samsung is gearing up to host its annual Galaxy Note launch in August and it appears that case manufacturers have jumped the gun and have already started producing cases for the yet unannounced smartphone. With the cases now leaking, several design changes have been confirmed and the biggest absentee here is the missing cut-out for the 3.5mm headphone jack.
As per a tweet by @Sudhanshu1414, the cases for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Pro have surfaced online and there are various features that can be gleaned from this leak. Although this leak does not display the Galaxy Note 10 Pro, the cut-outs in the case show the location and amount of intrusions. Combine the case leak with the leaked renders; you can now see how both go hand-in-hand. This indicates that Samsung has finally decided to shelve the 3.5mm audio jack on the Galaxy Note 10.
Commenting on the case, SamMobile states, “The iPhone-like vertical camera system at the back stands out. It has long been rumoured that Samsung’s next flagship will feature a vertical camera system. The cut-outs also reiterate another change that some fans are fearing. It doesn’t seem that there’s going to be a 3.5mm headphone jack on the Galaxy Note 10. This has been suggested by earlier leaks as well as countless reports about the device.”
The case also shows a hole at the top but it is too small to be classified as a headphone jack. In all probability, it is an IR blaster which would need a smaller cut-out that’s not the size of a headphone jack.
Lastly, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is expected to be announced on August 10 with sales beginning from early September.
