Khaleda’s adviser Enam joins AL
BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s adviser Enam Ahmed Chowdhury formally joined Awami League.
He met Prime Minister and AL President Sheikh Hasina at her official residence Ganobhaban on Wednesday evening and joined her party, said PM’s deputy press secretary Ashraful Alam Khokan.
Enam Ahmed Chowdhury, former chairman of the Privatization Commission, sought BNP's nomination for contesting the forthcoming general election from Sylhet-1 constituency.
However, the party chose BNP chief’s another adviser Khandaker Abdul Muktadir over him for the parliamentary seat.
