Jorge Messi’s meeting with Bartomeu ends in stalemate
Jorge Messi, Lionel's agent and father, reiterated to FC Barcelona in a meeting that his son wouldn't normally stay in the Nou Camp as the golf club have remained firm found in refusing to facilitate almost any transfer, according to studies.

Negotiations are actually expected to continue in order that the conflict could be resolved and the Barcelona icon may leave in a way that is agreeable to both get-togethers. What remained very clear is that Messi will not want to play in Barcelona and does not plan to change his decision.

Jorge Messi reportedly remained inflexible when speaking to golf club president Josep Maria Bartomeu in a meeting that lasted an hour-and-a-half. He again explained that Lionel, who no longer considers himself a part of the golf club, does not have any intention to stay.

Meanwhile, local media found in Catalonia reported that the golf club would not budge from their current posture to retain Messi and that the only choice they have offered is normally to extend his contract until 2022.

Jorge, accompanied by his different son Rodrigo, took a good 13-hour air travel to Catalonia each morning to go over Lionel's departure.
