Jatiya Oikya Front's formal journey to begin Oct 23
Newly formed Jatiya Oikya Front will start its formal journey on October 23 through offering prayers at the shrines of Shahjalal and Shah Poran in Syleht.
The announcement came from the maiden meeting of the new alliance held in the residence of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) President ASM Abdur Rab in Dhaka's Uttara on Tuesday noon.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, its standing committee members Dr Khandker Mosharraf Hossain and Barrister Moudud Ahmed, JSD President ASM Abdur Rab, Gono Forum Executive President Advocate Subrata Chowdhury, Nagorik Oikya convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna, among others, were present in the meeting.
On Saturday, Gono Forum President Dr Kamal Hossain announced the new alliance with BNP, Nagorik Oikya and JSD, excluding AQM Badruddozza Chowdhury's Jukto Front.
