Ishana in new drama serial 'Somporko'
Popular model-actress Ishana Khan is currently passing busy time performing in a new drama serial titled 'Somporko' directed by Sanjib Das. Earlier under the film director Dewan Nazmul's direction Ishana acted in a drama serial. The actress is portraying the role of Ratri in 'Somporko'. Written by Dewan Nazmul, the drama serial also casts Dewan Nazmul, Sheli Ahsan, Rose, Sohan Khan, Snigdha Srabon, Heera and Rusha, among others, in various roles.
The shooting of 'Somporko' is being shot in various locations of the capital alongside a shooting house of Uttara. About performing in the drama serial, Ishana said, "The drama serial revolves around the story of a family. Dewan Nazmul has tried his best to bring out the family's story in the drama. I was very much attentive while portraying my role which I really liked. I hope the viewers will appreciate the drama when it goes on air."
The drama serial 'Somporko' will be aired on a satellite TV channel soon. Meanwhile, Ishana has already finished shooting of RTV's ongoing serial 'Somoyer Golpo' with Australian expatriate Bangladeshi Sharif Chowdhury.
Topu Khan has made the serial. Earlier, Ishana started shooting of serial 'Chirokumari Songho' under Bhubon and Refat's direction. Ishana also informed that she has already taken part in shooting of Jewel Sharif directed BTV's seven-episode serial 'Japito Jibon'. Manosh Banerjee and Chhonda are co-actors of Ishana in this serial.
Therefore, under Jahangir Alam Sumon's direction Ishana is also acting in mega serial 'DB'. In last year's Eid, Ishana's acting was appreciated against Mosharraf Karim in drama 'Somshed' directed by Maruf Mithu.
