DHAKA: Indonesian President Joko Widodo is expected to arrive in Dhaka on Saturday afternoon (January 27) on a three-day official visit to discuss bi-lateral issues and visit Rohingya camps. 

He is scheduled to arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International airport around 4:10pm where President Abdul Hamid will welcome him.

President Abdul Hamid will host dinner in honour of his Indonesian counterpart at the Bangabhaban in the evening.

Before the dinner, Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali will also meet the Indonesian president at Sonargaon hotel at 6:30pm today.

Widodo will visit Savar National Memorial to pay homage to the martyrs of the Liberation War at 8:00am Sunday (January 28).

Later around 9:30am, He will also visit Bangabandhu Museum in the Dhaka's Dhanmondi to pay respect to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The Indonesian president will attend a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her office at 10:00am.

Widodo will leave Dhaka for Cox’s Bazar to visit Rohingya camps at 12:10pm.

Indonesia has been supportive from the beginning of Rohingya crisis. In September last year, Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi visited Dhaka and discussed the Rohingya issue with top Bangladeshi officials. 

The Indonesian president will leave Bangladesh at 9:00am on Monday.
