I never choose movies thinking I will be a star
Actress Mrunal Thakur, who also has the films 'Toofan', 'Jersey' and 'Aankh Micholi' prearranged, says that she has always taken assignments which can only help her survive much longer in the industry.

The actress says that she's always focused on giving her best performance in every role.

"I am happy that cinema is reaching a wider visitors. There were persons and filmmakers who asked me to accomplish several films to ensure that me to be well known. But I never choose my films thinking that I will be a superstar. I want to survive longer here. A very important factor that lasts longer is talent and performances," she advised IANS.

The actress adds that the medium hasn't really mattered to her.

"No matter where my films come, they have to be good. If you ask myself my job is merely to be a section of the film. That's what my wish is. Because of OTT, amid a pandemic, as an artist if I can entertain after that that is only through OTT," she says.

However, she does look and feel insecure as a result of current problem. "There is a bit of insecurity also because of the time that people you live in. I am not apprehensive, I am just worried a film should receive the reputation it deserves. Issues have slowed up and this has damaged the entertainment sector," the actress added.
