Huntsman collaborates with Jihua Group found on textile chemicals
Singapore-based Textile Results Division of Huntsman Corporation, leading global provider of top quality dyes and chemicals to the textile, and Jihua Group, a market leader on China for the manufacture of dyes and intermediates, have signed a strategic partnership agreement under which the two companies will cooperate in a wide variety of areas to jointly capitalize on the growing dependence on dye and chemical substance solutions for China’s textile sector, thereby bettering the country’s textile industry.

The partnership will help the firms in China to speed-up their supply chains and subsequently react quicker to customers’ demand and increase cost efficiency. This strategic collaboration comes 8 weeks after Huntsman Textile Results, a major innovator with more than 700 patents, announced it experienced granted a sole license to Jihua Group for developing, sales and advertising of Huntsman’s patented reactive ‘Super African American dyes in China. Through the contract, Huntsman and Jihua are actually selling ‘Super Black’ items under their respective trade names. In addition, Huntsman as well awarded Jihua Group the right to sublicense its patented Super Black color dyes in China.

The strategic alliance can help further fortify the two firms’ capabilities of serving their customers in China and increase their expansion in the united states, while looking to raise standards for the sector. It may be mentioned that investments in China’s textile industry grew 160 % year-on-year in the first six months of this 12 months to 13.1 billion yuan.

At the signing ceremony, Rohit Aggarwal, President, Huntsman Textile Effects stated, “We are incredibly very happy to have broadened our cooperation with Jihua Group right into a strategic partnership that may allow us to create greater cost and operational efficiencies and react faster and be more nimble to your customers in China,” while adding that Huntsman is now even better positioned to fully capture the emerging mark opportunities in China.  The alliance may also help to pave the way for the provider to enter into further more discussions with Jihua Group to broaden their cooperation to add different reactive dyes and intermediates in the future.
