Huawei donates equipment to special children
Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Ltd. has donated necessary equipment to PFDA-Vocational Training Center at a program held at the school premise today.

Nuruzzaman Ahmed, MP, Minister for Social Welfare, inaugurated the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Zhang Zhengjun, CEO of Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Ltd. handed over the equipment to Sajida Rahman Danny, Chairman of PFDA-Vocational Training Center.

“We carry the responsibility for supporting these special youth. We hope to continue contributing such activities in future to help them reach their maximum potential,” said the Chief Executive.

Huawei has come up with a charity program called ‘In Bangladesh, For Bangladesh’ designed to help the disadvantaged as part of their corporate social responsibility.

The company officially handed over Ultra Sound therapy (UST), Ultra Red Radiation (IRR), Short Wave Diathermy (SWD), Electrical Muscle Stimulator (EMS), Traction Machine (Pelvic and Cervical Traction) with bed and many more equipment to PFDA-Vocational Training Center.

These will help the institute as well as the students to take immediate physical aids in emergencies. Students can get necessary physiotherapy for their wellbeing.

CCTV cameras will help the teachers and authority to understand the behavioural pattern of students and find the root cause of any unexpected actions. Thus, these equipment will come handy in avoiding any kind of potential risk.

Nuruzzaman Ahmed, MP, Minister for Social Welfare, said, “To help the special children, both public and private organisations should work hand in hand. And today, Huawei and PFDA-Vocational Training Center are setting a great example with that inspiration. The students of this institute have already proved that if we nurture them properly they can also come up with great capabilities.”
