HSC, equivalent exam results published, pass rate 73.93%
The results of this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations have been published on Wednesday morning.
A total of 73.93 percent students passed under 10 education boards which was 66.64 per cent last year.
Around 47,286 students achieved GPA-5 this year which was 29,262 in 2018.
Education Minister Dipu Moni and chairmen of all boards handed over the copy of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina around 10am at Gono Bhaban.
The full results will be published at a press briefing at the Education Ministry around noon.
The examinees can also get their results through educationboardresults.gov.bd
The pass rate of the eight general education boards is 71.85 per cent. The passing rate of madrasa board is 88.56 per cent where 82.62 per cent vocational board candidates cleared the exams.
A total of 13,36,629 examinees took part in the examinations began on April 1.
