Happy for the success of Banglanews: Sayem Sobhan
DHAKA: Bashundhara Group and East West Media Group Ltd (EWMGL) managing director Sayem Sobhan Anvir has congratulated country’s leading news-portal Banglanews on its 8th anniversary.
Sayem Sobhan celebrated the occasion by cutting anniversary cake at Banglanews office in East West Media Group Ltd in Bashundhara residential area on Sunday noon (July 1).
Sayem Sobhan said, “Many online news-portals have come and gone but we made it. However, we have to make progress and keep going in the right direction. I am very happy for the success…..”
Earlier Banglanews consultant editor Jewel Mazhar, on behalf of the organization, welcomed Sayem Soban with flowers as he arrived at office.
Social Welfare Minister also Bangladesh Workers Party President Rashed Khan Menon, Kaler Kantho editor Imdadul Haq Milon, Daily Sun editor Enamul Huq Chowdhury, News24 executive director Hasnain Khorshed and News24, Radio Capital CEO and Bangladesh Pratidin editor Naem Nizam were also present at the event.
Earlier on Saturday evening (June 30), Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan inaugurated the celebration by cutting a cake and uncovering a special magazine.
