Gwyneth Paltrow under the scanner
In June end, Gwyneth and her lifestyle brand Goop held an exclusive wellness summit in London at whopping $5,700 for a weekend pass.

According to People.com, it included a two-night stay at the Kimpton Fitzroy hotel, wellness-trend workshops, food pop-ups, a variety of speaker panels and a VIP workout with Tracy Anderson and Gwyneth. But some attendees felt the event was a rip-off, calling Gwyneth a "pretentious, greedy extortionist."

Tracy, though, stood up for her, arguing that nobody was forced to attend the summit. "It's just options. She's not telling anyone what to do, or what to wear," Tracy told Page Six. However, Goop has faced backlash before. In December 2017, for instance, critics had claimed it endorsed a potentially harmful extreme diet promoted by Tracy.
