Germany plans to offer free rapid corona exams from Mar 1
Germany plans to provide all citizens fast corona virus tests cost-free from March 1, its health minister said about Tuesday.Jens Spahn said quick antigen tests were today sufficiently in the marketplace to enable local check centers and pharmacies to own tests for free.Earlier, German media group RedaktionsNetzwerk Deutschland (RND) reported that Spahn planned to expand the national screening technique to enable free lab tests. The federal government strategies to bear the costs, RND said.

Spahn also wants to make lab tests which can be conducted in home available to everyone once they have been approved by regulators."These testing alternatives can contribute to a secure everyday life, especially found in universities and daycare centres," Spahn said on Twitter, adding medical ministry was in negotiations with test out manufacturers.

The number of new daily infections in Germany has been falling in recent weeks, to 3,856 on Tuesday, although this is around 480 cases greater than yesterday. The seven-functioning day incidence was 59 cases per 100,000.German leaders agreed the other day to tighten the threshold for a good gradual reopening of the market, targeting contamination rate of under 35 new cases per 100,000 persons over seven days, straight down from 50 previously.
