GDP growth will be 7.4computer this fiscal year: PM
The government has reduced the GDP growth projection for the current fiscal year to 7.4 % considering the fallouts of the coronavirus pandemic.

"Our GDP grew by 5.24 per cent in the last fiscal year. Relating to your estimate, the GDP growth will be 7.4 % this fiscal year," explained Primary Minister Sheikh Hasina in her address to the nation yesterday.

In June, Financing Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal aimed an 8.2 % economical growth in 2020-21.

"Based on the projections of diverse international organizations, Bangladesh's position might be at the very top among the Parts of asia in conditions of GDP growth amount," the prime minister stated. 

Bangladesh is thought to have got posted the third-highest GDP expansion on the globe in 2020, based on the International Monetary Fund.

Sheikh Hasina informed that the country's per capita cash flow reached $2,064 found in 2020.

After the Awami League government assumed office in '09 2009, Bangladesh was proven as a self-dignified country on the globe within the last 12 years, explained the premier, adding that the country achieved outstanding success in the social, economical and infrastructure sectors.

The Economist has ranked Bangladesh ninth among 66 emerging economies, she said.

Bangladesh would be the 24th most significant economy by 2030 according to the Globe Economic Forum forecast, she said.
