Gargee to lend her voice for two songs in Atanu's next
Gargee Roy chowdhury recently recorded two songs for Atanu Ghosh's film Sesh Pata which also stars Prosenjit Chatterjee and Vikram Chatterjee. The film is about the weight of debt in some form or the other in everyone's life. It is also a story of values and moral vision. There are three main characters in this film - an arrogant non-conformist writer Balmiki, Medha, a sensitive middle-aged woman who is going through a crisis and Sounak, a recovery agent. "This is the first time I am doing playback for any film. I did once for Goutam Ghose's film but that was a short film. This time I recorded the two Rabindrasangeets and both my director and music composer Debajyoti Mishra are happy with the final outcome.

I can't reveal which two songs I recorded, but both the songs come at an interesting juncture of the film. I love to sing but singing professionally is something is no mean feat. I hope I am able to live up to my music director and director's expectations as I am not a professional singer," said the actress. She added, "People now talk about music therapy, but I have been practising music therapy since childhood. Music is my companion when I am sad or when I am happy. It is with me 24x7."

On Teacher's Day today, Gargee feels that life has been her best teacher so far. "Life, situations, and surroundings have taught me a lot. In fact, I learn from my surroundings every day," said the actress.
