'Flag Girl' ranks sixth at Miss Multinational
'Flag Girl' Priota Iftekhar, the representative of Bangladesh, ranked 6th among 25 participating countries at Miss Multinational on February 26. Sophia Senoron was crowned Miss Multinational 2017-18 while Saskia Kuban from Germany became the 1st Runners-up and Shefali Sharma from India became the 2nd Runners Up.
Priota became the 1st Runners up in the Best Speech category where she was asked, "What is the one cause you would like to work for in your country?"
She replied, "As an orphan myself, I would like to work on awareness of orphan inheritance rights as our country is led by an independent woman who was once a young orphan, we have all reasons to believe that orphans are strong enough."
Earlier, she represented Bangladesh at Miss Tourism World 2017. She is also a Brand Ambassador at Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation.
