Fizz and Ebadot strike before rain washes out second day
New Zealand XI reached 57 for two before rain stopped play in the 12th over on the final day of Bangladesh's two-day practice game against a New Zealand XI.

Mustafizur struck with the fourth ball of the day, removing Jakob Bhula for nought. The 19-year-old got an edge, which was taken by Liton Das behind the stumps.

Andrew Townsend Fletcher was in good touch, but he departed shortly before the skies opened up. Ebadot shaped a ball into the left-hander, and it looked to have swung just a little to go past Fletcher's bat and body and strike timber. He departs for a fluent 37-ball 43.

Our reporter on the field, Mazhar Uddin, attempted to provide valuable insight -- such as by reporting that the players had in fact returned to the dressing room and were not waiting around in the rain -- but unfortunately there was little to gleam from the short session.
