Fisherman dies as trawler capsizes in Kuakata
A fisherman was found dead and seven fellows of him found alive as a trawler capsized during fishing in the Bay of Bengal in Kuakata of Patuakhali.
The deceased was identified as Mizanur, 35.
The body was taken to the deceased’s residence in Gohinkhali village in Rangabali upazila Wednesday morning (July 18).
Being struck in huge wave and stormy wind, the trawler-- FB Ibrahim sank in the Bay Tuesday afternoon (July 17), Rangabali Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Milon Krishna Mitra told Banglanews.
On information, a search & rescue mission was carried out in the Bay, added the OC.
