Fire at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel doused
A fire that broke out at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the city early on Tuesday (Oct 1) night has been put out, damaging Saudi Airlines office partially and causing panic among its boarders.
Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) officials said the fire originated from ground floor of the office around 2:40am. Later, it caught valuables of the office, discharging black smoke.
Soon after the incident, seven units of FSCD firefighters rushed to the spot and doused the flame around 3:10am, Assistant Director of FSCD Salauddin told Banglanews from the spot.
